Bus Services

Private Bus Charter

The service is provided by BusWest from Dean Road, Bateman in the morning and afternoon: 

  • ‘Fremantle Service’ (East Fremantle - Bicton - Melville - Myaree - Willagee - Kardinya - Murdoch - Bateman); and

  • ‘River Service’ (South Perth - Como - Karawara - Manning - Applecross - Ardross - Mount Pleasant - Brentwood - Bateman).

These bus routes cater for families living in suburbs not directly serviced by a convenient public transport route to and from the College. The bus service is provided for secondary students only from Years 7-12. 

Buswest/ATG use the app-based ticketing system Transportme™.

This app enables funds to be added to SmartRiders, bus routes, buses tracking in real time and notifications regarding delays or other issues.

Students use their Corpus Christi issued SmartRider to tap on the bus.  Fare for 2024 is $2.50 per student, per ride and is deducted from the Transportme™ account.  Funds can be added easily by setting an auto top-up. Parents must download the TransportMe app before students commence using the bus service for their child(ren).

Payment 

The Private Bus Charter charges for 2024 is $2.50 per child, per ride.

Increases will be reviewed annually.

Transperth

The College is serviced by three public bus routes and we recommend you visit the Transperth website for the most up-to-date information: 

  • 505 (Bull Creek Station - Murdoch Drive, Bateman - Murdoch Station); and

  • 510 (Booragoon Bus Station - Winthrop - Dean Rd, Bateman - Murdoch Station).

  • 511 (Murdoch Station - Somerville Bvd/Keal Pass - Corpus Christi College - Winterfold Rd/ Stock Rd - Fremantle College - Fremantle Station). This is on SCHOOL DAYS ONLY.

All students are provided with a SmartRider enabling them access to student fares.
