ACC ISP (Inclusive Sports Program) Athletics Carnival

The ACC ISP (Inclusive Sports Program) Athletics Carnival was a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and outstanding athletic performances.

Our ESC students had the opportunity to connect with peers, forge new friendships, and strengthen existing bonds, all while engaging in a variety of exciting athletic pursuits. The atmosphere at the carnival was nothing short of electric, as students from sixteen CEWA schools came together, demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship by cheering each other on. It was a day that truly embodied the spirit of inclusivity and unity.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the wide array of sporting activities available to our students. From lightning-fast sprints on the track to precision vortex throws, gravity-defying long jumps, and the sheer power of shot put, our students showcased their athleticism and unwavering team spirit with immense enthusiasm.

Our students had the privilege of meeting Ella Pardy, an Australian Paralympic athlete who has left an indelible mark on the world of sports. Ella competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in long jump and the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in the 100m and 200m sprints. Her remarkable journey and achievements served as a source of inspiration for all in attendance, reminding us that determination knows no bounds.

The ACC ISP Athletics Carnival was more than just a day of athletic competition. It was a day that celebrated unity, inclusivity and the incredible talents of our ESC students.
